Due to underlying changes in both Drupal itself and CKEditor (the editor you interact with when working on a Drupal websites), a number of conflicts have resulted in the functionality necessary to utilise CDS not being rendered and executed correctly. This impacts both the creation and editing of new as well as existing content. Uploading media directly continues to function normally.
Appreciating the upcoming changes to both Drupal (moving from 9.5.0 to 10.x) and CKEditor (moving from CKEditor 4 to CKEditor 5), we are keen on creating a proper solution rather than a shaky, temporary patch. As this work remains ongoing, we kindly ask that you upload media directly instead of using CDS. If you need to share very large files, please consider either linking directly to the CDS resource or using CERNBox as a means of sharing. If you face any issues doing this, please get in touch.
