It looks like the git repo of the CERN d8 override theme ahs been dropped from https://gitlab.cern.ch/web-team/drupal/public/d8/themes. Where is it ? Or is https://drupal-tools.web.cern.ch/docs/styling/override-cern-theme completely obsolete ?
Not there for me. I get a 404. Do I need special credentials ?

In order to get access you need to self-subscribe to the drupal-override-theme-users e-group. You will have to wait a few hours though for it to synchronise.

something like 2h ago when I realized it could be that. So everything is “normal” up to now then

I confirm it worked after 5h or so. Maybe that should be mentioned in the documentation, both that 404 actually means “permission denied” in this case and that you need to wait
