Hi again

It seems as though there is in fact a Drupal 9 compatible version of this particular module available: https://www.drupal.org/project/permissions_by_term. However, verison 3.1.16 actually requires Drupal ^9. This of course complicates matters in upgrading on a Drupal 8.x version which you are currently on. However, once your production site is moved to OpenShift, we will also make a Drupal 9 preview website available for you. This will allow you to try and update this particular module and confirm compatibility.
