Hi,
I would like to create a kind of FAQ on my website, similar to what has been done here : https://admin-eguide.web.cern.ch/faq/octroi-dun-contrat-de-duree-indeterminee
Is there a module easy to install and maintain that I could use ? I heard about “double field” module but I do not know if it matches with what I want…
Thank you
Guylaine
Hi Guylaine,
We provide a display pattern with which you can create FAQs. We did a quick tutorial on how to use it on https://webtools.web.cern.ch/technologies/drupal/expansion/cern-display-formats under ‘Accordion’.
All you have to do is to create a content type which will be used for your FAQs, give it the ‘FAQ List’ layout under ‘Manage Display’ and create a view which uses the ‘Accordion’ Display Format.
Let me know if that works for you!
Patrick
Hi Patrick,
No, I do not manage to do what I want. I have created a content type, but I do not exactly understand how the fields work…In addition I am not an expert at all with the views.
Is there a possibility for you to explain me further in details if I join an ENTICE meeting ?
Best regards,
Guylaine
Hi Guylaine,
Yes, sure!
There was one today, the next one will be most likely in two weeks.
Cheers,
Patrick
Thank you ! I will join the one on June 12th.
Cheers,
Guylaine
Hi Patrick,
I made another Test : https://test-drupal8g.web.cern.ch/change-of-institute
However, I do not manage to remove “title”. I would like only “change of Institute” to appear. Can you tell me what how I have to proceed ?
In addition, the title still appear as a link…
Thank you !
Guylaine
Hi Guylaine,
You can remove the title in the Display settings. You can find the settings in [your content type] -> Manage Display -> Teaser. There you see the display settings for each field. Set the label setting setting to ‘- Hidden -’ and it should be gone.
Concerning the link issue: I discussed with @kplatis and it seems that it’s caused by a bug in the theme/component. As a workaround you can use a block display and place it on an empty page. I’ve already created the block display on your site.
Hope that helps!
Patrick
Thank you Patrick !
I will make another test and come back to you if I have questions
Cheers,
Guylaine
