FAQ view mode in Views

Hi
I have a question related to the FAQ view.
I have used a basic page wand I have created a new view mode called FAQ, some basic pages will be displayed as default and others as FAQ.
When I create the view using Display content with setting View mode = FAQ, the view display all the basic pages created in a FAQ view mode.
Is it normal?
It should display only the basic pages with the FAQ view mode, isn’t it?
