Favicon change in dark/light mode

Dear all,

I was wondering if you could change the favicon depending if the website is in dark or light mode of the browser. If yes, how?

Hello Nadine and welcome,

Currently the CERN theme does not support favicons in dark mode. I created a ticket so that it will be deployed in the next minor version of the theme.

How often does the CERN theme gets renewed?
And (for me as a drupal beginner) does the admin of the website needs to change the options (like constum colours and design elements) of the website every time the theme gets renewed?
