Header menu is shifted after enabling CERN Override theme

Hello all,

I am facing some problems with the CERN D8 overwrite theme.
I have downloaded the overwrite theme from GitLab, make a copy of it and renamed it. Then I deleted the CSS folder and enabled that theme in my website.

The problem is that, every internal page shows right and how it was before, except the landing page. It was some huge margins between the sections and the featured banners are not respecting their original height (I mean as it was with the other theme). The main menu is moved to the center and the page title has disappeared.

Could you please help me with that? Is there another way to use the overwrite theme and the sections will stay exactly as they are ??

Hello Evi,

I checked the override theme and it seems like you have deleted the code from inside the cernoverride.theme file.

As you can see in the latest version of override theme, the cernoverride.theme file has some implemented functions which have been removed.

Its ok if you want to rename the theme and/or add new functionalities but please try not to remove any existing code because it might mess up the stylings.

I did exactly what the documentation says: https://gitlab.cern.ch/web-team/drupal/public/d8/themes/cernoverride , and now it works fine. Only this solved the problem.
