How to make a video play automatically

Hello,

I have managed to embed a video on my landing page but it does not play automatically when the user arrives on the website. There is a giant play white button.
How can I make it so that the video plays?

If you want to have a look, this is the website: https://sce-dep.web.cern.ch/

I have tried in different sections:

  • 1st section, it is in the background type (I got the resource from CDS) and the display is Cover parallax video compatible
  • 2nd section: I added the iframe in the HTML:
  • last section: it is also in the background type CDS and I feel like I have copied everything from the section of the demo website (where it works well)

Hello Emilie,

When you select a CDS image/video as a field, you can modify the video option using the expandable CDS Media.

From there, you can modify the Autoplay option. Can you give it a try to see if it answers your question?
