Dear all,
I cannot translate the hyperlinks from my footer menu block.
When the selected language for the website is French, I would like the URL to point towards the French pages.
Is it possible ?
Thanks for your help,
Marie

Hello Marie,
You can translate the menu by navigating in Structure > Menu
, then select the menu and the menu item you want to translate.
Until now you couldn’t translate due to a setting. I changed it now and it works.

Hi Kostas,
Thanks for your answer.
I can translate the name of the menu links, but I don’t know how to put a link towards a French page in the French menu and a different link towards an English page in the English menu.
The URL is always the same for both languages:
Cheers,
Marie
I see what you mean. There are two ways to do that:
Create a different menu which is the French version of the menu. Then in the Block Layout when you place the menu, you can choose the English one to appear only in English and French one only in French
The Translatable Menu Link URI module is created so that you will be able to translate links of items that are not translatable. To be honest I have not used it but as a solution looks cleaner than the other one.
Let me know if you choose the second solution because I am curious on whether it works.

Hi Kostas,
I have tried the Translatable Menu Link URI and it works fine.
Thanks for the advice!
Cheers,
Marie
