Point to a specific section of a document

Hi,

For this page, we noticed that when clicking on a section in the table of content, we get a dedicated URL - for ex. https://admin-eguide.web.cern.ch/en/procedure/duty-travel#3.4.

However, when opening this link in a new tab, it doesn’t point to the desired section, would you know how to solve this ?

Hi Benjamin,

I believe this is caused because the webiste is behind SSO. When you open a page with an anchor the first time the website checks the user permission for the page and not the anchor. Then if you refresh the page permissions don’t need to be checked anymore and the anchor works.

HSE website has similar anchors in its FAQ page and they work fine in new tabs.

Sorry, not refresh. If you focus on the browser’s URL bar and hit enter then it works.

That’s because it doesn’t check for permissions anymore.
