Webforms in Drupal

Dear Colleagues,

I was wondering if I could please ask you to help me with Webforms in Drupal.

I created two webforms (https://new-charm.web.cern.ch/form/radiation-test-request-for-exter and RADIATION TEST REQUEST FOR INTERNAL USERS | be-dep-cem.web.cern.ch) and I would like to add them under https://new-charm.web.cern.ch/admin/structure/menu/item/54/edit?destination=/admin/structure/menu/manage/main). However, when I click on “Add link” and look for the webforms in the Link field, anything appears.

Did I do something wrong?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Best regards,
Valentina

Hey @vbaldass,

The reason for this is that the menu link “Radiation Test Request” is linked to Home | CHARM thus redirecting the users to this specific website each time they click the link.
Refer the screenshot below :

For the 2 webforms you created, I would suggest you to create different menu links for each and link them as child node to the “Radiation Test Request” menu link. In order to get this going you can follow the following steps :

  • Go to Structure
  • Therein go to menus
  • In menu look for main navigation
  • Click edit menu
  • Add link
  • Create menu link for the webforms, link them to the source URL
  • SAVE

Once you are done with the above mentioned steps, then advance to the main navigation menu and drag the newly created links under the “Radiation Test Required” menu link.

I hope this helps.

Prakhar

Dear Prakhar,

Thank you for your reply.

I already tried to do this, however the webform name is not displayed in the link menu. It seems as the webform is not found.

Thank you in advance for your help.

All the best,
Valentina

Hey,

You could simply paste the link/URL of the webform you have created in the field and upon completing that you can make these links child node to the “Radiation Test Required” menu link under the main navigation menu.

I hope this clears the doubt.

Prakhar
